About Los Padres Wild Heritage Campaign

The Los Padres Wild Heritage Campaign is a coalition of businesses, organizations, and concerned citizens in Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties working to protect the Southern Los Padres National Forest for future generations. For the last few years, we have been working on identifying wild lands and rivers suitable for permanent protections and working with stakeholders and forest users to protect more of our backyard, scenic, playground.

The steering committee is comprised of the following organizations: Los Padres Forest Watch, Friends of the River, California Wilderness Coalition, The Wilderness Society, Pew Environment Group's Campaign for America's Wilderness, and Keep Sespe Wild Committee.
